Free gospel concert set for Sunday in Red Deer

Generation Rising is inviting members of the public to attend a free gospel concert in Red Deer this weekend.

On Sunday, May 31, at the City Chapel (5850 Kerry Wood Drive) at 3 p.m., those in attendance will get to enjoy Celtic gospel music at the event called “An Afternoon with Rhythm & Grace.”

Generation Rising says the concert will include uplifting gospel songs, personal testimonies, and a message of hope that points hearts to Christ.

“This is more than just a concert,” said Rafael Duerksen, Executive Director of Generation Rising, in a media release. “It’s an opportunity for families and churches to gather, be encouraged in their faith, and be reminded of the hope we have in Christ.”
