Nominations for the 2026 Business of the Year Awards now open

The Red Deer District Chamber announced that nominations are now open for the annual Business of the Year Awards.

The awards will take place on October 21 at the RDP Centre, which will recognize excellence across a wide range of categories that highlight the strength, innovation, and diversity of businesses in Red Deer and area.

“The Business of the Year Awards recognize the businesses, leaders, and organizations that help make Red Deer and our region strong,” said Frank Creasey, CEO of the Red Deer District Chamber. “We encourage the community to nominate those demonstrating leadership, innovation, and a commitment to making a positive impact both economically and within our community.”

Nominations will be accepted in multiple categories, including New Business of the Year, Innovation Award, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Emerging Business Person of the Year, and Non-Profit Organization of the Year.
