Holly Jolly Public Skate in Ponoka

The holiday season is here and it’s time to celebrate with some festive skating fun for all ages at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street).

Town officials are inviting residents to come out on Sunday, Dec. 21 for the Holly Jolly Public Skate.

The event will run from 11 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and includes:

• A free public skate with Santa;

• Complimentary hot chocolate;

• A crafts station.

Residents are encouraged to bring the whole family, lace up your skates, embrace the holiday season with some ice skating, hot chocolate and other Christmas festivities. The town says its the perfect way to kick off your Christmas celebrations. Don’t forget to wear warm winter attire for extra comfort on the ice.
