Enter your float in Ponoka’s Santa Claus Parade

The season is nearly upon us, and the town of Ponoka is inviting interested parties to enter their floats in the annual Santa Claus Parade.

The parade is free to enter and is a great chance for local businesses, community groups, and others to show their spirit.

To enter a float, visit ponoka.ca and fill in the online form. Registrations run through 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 20.

One main rule: The town asks you please do not invite Mr. or Mrs. Claus to ride on your float, as the Town of Ponoka is already making arrangements for Santa to appear in the parade.

The parade is set for Nov. 21 at 6 p.m.

All floats will meet at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street) that day at 4:30 p.m. The parade will wind through downtown Ponoka:

• Along 54 Street;
• East down 46 Avenue;
• North on 50 Street;
• West on 51 Avenue
• South on 51 Street;
• West on 48 Avenue; and
• South on 54 Street back to the Arena.
