Community registration night in Ponoka set for Aug. 21

The Town of Ponoka will host its community registration night on Thursday, Aug. 21.

From 3 to 7 p.m. at the Ponoka Arena Complex in the curling rink, those in attendance will get the opportunity to register for local sports, community and recreation programs and activities.

There will also be a free public skate and a coffee with council event where citizens can ask councillors questions about the 2026 budget.

Residents should visit the Town of Ponoka booth if they want to learn about and register for recreation programs that will be offered this fall.

Local clubs or organizations that offer sports or other programming this fall that are hoping to book a table at registration night can do so by emailing recreation@ponoka.ca.
