Red Deer cancer survivor wants businesses to join sticker support program
Endless spirit — that’s what Jason Kom-Tong has.
The man who survived tongue cancer, though lost his tongue, remains behind a movement to help cancer patients in central Alberta, and needs businesses to join the cause.
Kom-Tong founded The Endless Spirit Foundation a few years ago, and after receiving a $20,000 grant from the City of Red Deer last fall, he launched the ‘Kicking It Together’ cancer support card program.
The cards are meant to be a simple yet powerful took to connect survivors with local businesses offering their own selection of free or discounted services to survivors.
