2025 Woody’s Triathlon set for this Saturday in Red Deer

The 2025 Woody’s Triathlon is set to return this Saturday, June 21.

Participants will swim laps in the Michener Aquatic Centre before heading to the cycling and running portions of the race.

Race maps can be found on the Woody’s Triathlon website.

The adult Try-a-tri, relay and adult/junior sprint races will begin at 7 a.m. followed by the youth races at 1 p.m.

The adult competitors will swim 30 lengths or 750 metres in the 25-metre pool, bike 20 kilometres or three loops, and run five kilometres or one loop.
