Pair charged with drug offences by Olds RCMP

Olds RCMP have charged a man and woman from Innisfail and Penhold with drug-related offences.

On March 27, the Olds RCMP Crime Reduction Unit observed alleged drug trafficking activity in the town of Olds.

A traffic stop was soon conducted, which led to the locating of 238 grams of methamphetamine.

The 26-year-old woman from Innisfail was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Fail to comply with undertaking
  • Fail to comply with probation order (x4)

The 28-year-old man from Penhold was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking

They were both held for an interim release hearing, and were eventually released, with court dates of April 7 and April 28.
