Alberta upgrades online tool connecting businesses with available locations
The Government of Alberta is endeavouring to make it easier for investors to find the best place for their business by upgrading its Site Selector Tool, a free online service that connects businesses and investors to available locations in the province.
Government officials note, choosing the right location can make or break a business, and in the face of a changing geopolitical landscape, the government says it is investing in tools and technology to assist businesses with this factor and attract large-scale investments to the province.
The Site Selector Tool combines real-time property listings with data on infrastructure and socio-economic insights on communities, making it easier to choose where to expand or invest. There are about 7,000 available properties already featured on the tool.
“When it comes to innovative solutions for investment attraction, the Alberta Site Selector Tool is best in class and has the potential to help us attract high-quality jobs and billions of dollars in investment,” commented Matt Jones, Minister of Jobs, Economy and Trade.
