Axle weight allowance changes coming to Red Deer County roads

As the weather changes and temperatures warm, Red Deer County is notifying residents that road bans outlining new axle weight allowances will be coming into effect on March 10 at 7 a.m.

These will occur on many different county roadways, excluding all industrial and commercial subdivisions, officials say. Gravel roadways will be banned on an as-needed basis.
