Fight the Knight at unique Food Bank fundraiser

Hear ye, hear ye residents of Red Deer: if you’re looking to support a good cause and test your mettle in the heat of battle, then look no further than Fight the Knight, coming to Parkland Mall this month.

On Mar. 22, residents and knights alike are invited to donate a non-perishable food item to the Red Deer Food Bank in exchange for a foam sword duel with members from the Red Stags of Red Deer.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and you can find the knights gathered behind the food court side of the mall, near Ardene and GoodLife.

This is the group’s first Fight the Knight fundraiser. Any monetary donations received will also be going to the Red Deer Food Bank.
