Sundre area sets new temperature record for February 27

The Sundre, AB, area set a new temperature record for Feb. 27, on Thursday.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the thermometer hit 13.1 degrees Celsius in the Sundre area on Thursday, beating the old record high for February 27 of 10.6 degrees set in 2006.

Records in this area have been kept since 1993.
