Three-vehicle crash on QEII involving semi snarls traffic Friday afternoon near Innisfail

Update: As of 10:41 on Saturday morning, Alberta 511 reported that all lanes have now reopened.

Traffic is being snarled southbound, and possibly northbound, on the QEII Highway near Innisfail Friday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision.

Specifically, the incident is close to Township Road 362, and traffic is being redirected at Junction 42.

The crash is said to involve a B-train or Super-B combination semi carrying propane, and one of the other two is reportedly a van.

RCMP and other emergency services initially responded around 4:04 p.m. to the Antler Hill area just north of Innisfail.

Thankfully, no one has been reported hurt.

The truck is laying on its side on the meridian but is also blocking traffic, and RCMP anticipate being on scene for some time.
