New trial dates for man accused in Red Deer drug and firearms seizure
New trial dates have been set for one of three people charged in a Red Deer drug trafficking investigation which turned up four firearms, including an AK-47 rifle.
Brandon Caleb Robertson, 29, is scheduled for trial in Red Deer Court of King’s Bench from Jan. 12-16, 2026. He was previously scheduled for trial in May of last year.
Co-accused Adrian Mollica Lazzaro, 42, meantime, was convicted on two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and sentenced in Red Deer Court of Justice on Jan. 14, 2025, to 4,197 days in jail, less 584 days of pre-trial custody, leaving him 3,613 days (9 yrs, 10 months, 19 days) left to serve. He was also given a firearms prohibition.
Matters for a third co-accused, Nicholas James David Wales, 27, sees his matters return to Red Deer Court of Justice on April 3, 2025.
