Sylvan Lake Fire Department responds to call on Lakeshore Dr.

The Sylvan Lake Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Monday that turned out to be just smoke.

That evening they responded to a residential building on Lakeshore Drive and 44 Street, only to discover there were never any flames.

Ron Lebsack, Director of Emergency Management for the Town of Sylvan Lake, said they ventilated the area and that was it.

No injuries or damage to the building was reported and Lebsack said just one fire engine responded to the call.
