Wednesday cart collection rescheduled due to statutory holidays

The City of Red Deer is alerting the public to a schedule change to cart collection through the Christmas holiday.

The City says Wednesday cart collection will change to accomodate the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day statutory holidays.

As a result, those in the neighbourhoods of Bower, Inglewood, Ironstone, Evergreen, Woodlea, Waskasoo, McKenzie Trail, Michener West, Downtown, Parkvale and South Hill will be moved to the following Thursday.

And those living in Sunnybrook, Southbrook, Mountview and Grandview will be moved to the following Friday.

Wednesday collection schedules will return to normal on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025. Residents with a collection day other than Wednesday will have their carts collected on their regular collection day over the holidays.
