Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre hosting Annual Fall Fundraising Banquet

Oct 1, 2024 | 3:09 PM

The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre is hosting its Annual Fall Fundraising Banquet on October 24, 2024.

This year, we focus on “Growing Together” with a deep sense of compassion and connection. It’s about recognizing that our journeys are intertwined, whether nurturing the bond between parent and child, building a relationship, or working alongside colleagues and volunteers.

True growth happens when we support one another with kindness, understanding and patience. By embracing each other’s strengths and lifting one another through challenges, we create a space where everyone can flourish. Together, we build a community rooted in empathy and shared success.

The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre extends grace and provides education and ongoing compassionate support before, during, and after pregnancy. All programs are free and confidential and are offered in a safe, non-judgmental environment regardless of age, race, income, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability or other circumstances.

Potential clients include those impacted by an unexpected pregnancy, those with inadequate knowledge of pregnancy and birth and those who have not yet developed effective parenting skills.

Clients may also connect with us if they are:

● pregnant and living in an unhealthy or unsafe environment,

● grieving from the loss of a pregnancy,

● struggling after an abortion experience,

● suffering from the effects of an unhealthy relationship or,

● looking for a male role model and men’s programming.

Our Red Deer location also has a maternity home for pregnant mothers and mothers and babies. It is a two phase program offering a nurturing home, supporting healthy pregnancy and positive parenting. The Aerie is staffed 24/7 and can accommodate up to 11 young women and their infants.

Residents who meet program outcomes can stay until their child is about two years of age as they pursue education or employment while strengthening their parenting and life skills.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE – We are looking for event sponsors, silent auction donations and event attendees.
