Lacombe Police say youth hit by vehicle in serious but stable condition

A youth in Lacombe was hit by a vehicle on Friday, according to Lacombe Police Service (LPS).

The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. Woodland Drive and Lincoln Park Boulevard.

The person was taken to Red Deer Regional Hospital, then flown to children’s hospital in Calgary by STARS.

Police say the youth is in serious but stable condition.

The incident is currently under investigation.
