Well, I do recall!

It was just after my keynote program, and I found myself sitting at a round table, having lunch with other attendees when a woman approached. She knelt beside me and, with quiet tears in her eyes, began to share her story. She explained how deeply something I had said onstage had touched her, inspiring her to make a positive change in her life.
It was one of the most vivid memories of a heartfelt ‘thank you’ I’ve ever received. Her gratitude left a lasting impression on me, serving as a powerful reminder that we never truly know how our words or actions might impact others. Reflecting on that moment reminds me to stay mindful of the influence we have and to strive to be better in the future.
Today, I invite you to reflect on moments of your own. Thoughtful reflection can often provide the clarity we need to move forward in the direction we desire. Here are a few questions to help guide your thoughts:
Think about a time when you fully received a ‘thank you’. What were you being thanked for? Did you even realize you had impacted that person in such a way? How did you feel afterward? Can you do more of what you were thanked for?
Think back to when you played as a child. What did you play? How did it make you feel? When was the last time you did a version of that as an adult? Could you bring that joy back into your life?
Recall a time when something came easily to you and gave you a sense of accomplishment. Were you solo or with others? Could you teach someone else how to do it, sharing that sense of fulfillment?
Reflection helps us reconnect with our purpose, our joy, and the parts of ourselves we might have set aside. Let these questions be a nudge to look back, and in doing so, set your course ahead.

When I was trying to buckle down and work, I wrote this one.
When I was contemplating friendship, this one appeared.
When I just felt ‘done’, this seemed like an appropriate thing to do.

Ever grateful, Steph
PS – Who do you know that’s planning an event? LMK, I’d love to bring revitalization to their people and their ‘party’!
