Central Alberta Theatre lifts the curtain on 2024-25 season
The Central Alberta Theatre is excited to announce its lineup for the 2024-2025 season, which features five different showings at the Black Box Theatre.
Just in time for Halloween, the group will put on Dracula: Mina’s Quest, an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic that spotlights Dracula’s intended bride, Minda, at the centre of the story. Directed by Lacey Oleson-Rinehart, the show runs from October 18-31, 2024.
Residents looking for some holiday cheer can try out Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, a romantic comedy following Mary Bennet as she finds herself on an unexpected journey for love and independence. Co-directed by Wanda Oler and Robyn Jeffrey, this play features much-loved characters from Pride and Prejudice and hits the stage November 29 to December 15, 2024.
Experience a psychological thriller with Any Night, a mind-bending play that follows a young dancer battling sleep terrors and an enigmatic neighbour. Exploring the line between reality and illusion, the play is directed by Ronen Eagles and runs January 18-26, 2025.
