Disruptions to 55 Street traffic

Red Deer motorists are advised of traffic disruptions on 55 Street as crews repair asphalt.

From 6 a.m. on August 7 to 4 p.m. on August 8, 55 Street will be closed at the 45 avenue intersection, affecting both east and westbound lanes. City officials say traffic will be detoured along 47 Avenue and 44 Avenue.

Motorists are advised to obey all signs, follow detour signage, and reminded to slow down when approaching the area.
