Terry Fox Run committee to hold bottle drive for cancer research

Red Deer’s Terry Fox Run committee is holding a bottle drive to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research on Saturday, September 7.

At the south Canadian Tire location (2510 50 Avenue), residents can drop their bottles off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day, or provide a donation, or buy a t-shirt.

Money raised will be added to the total fundraising efforts for the run on September 15. The committee hopes to raise awareness of the fall event in addition to raising funds.
