Reminder: Sylvan Lake residents can register for free parking
Jul 15, 2024 | 11:10 AM
The Town of Sylvan Lake is reminding residents that they are eligible to register for free parking.
Here are the steps to get your resident parking pass:
-
HotSpot account
-
Create an account if you don’t already have one.
-
Add up to 10 vehicles
-
Parking enforcement is based on plate numbers, so you must add your vehicle to your account. You can also add rental vehicle plate numbers.
-
Apply for up to four active vehicles (permits)
-
You must put a vehicle on a permit to make your vehicle active for free parking.
-
You must upload images of your proof of residency and proof of address documents for each permit. Keep your images handy.
-
It usually takes around 24 hours to have your permit approved, but it may take up to five days. If it is taking longer than 24 hours, call HotSpot directly at 1-855-712-5888, Monday-Friday, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-
If you need a permit faster, send your proof of residency to parking@sylvanlake.ca, then call the Town.
-
Put vehicles on the permit
-
Add one plate to each of your permits. Only one plate can be active on one permit at a time. You can log in and change these as often as needed.
For assistance, call municipal enforcement at 403-858-72801 Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For evenings from 4:00-7:15 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., contact NexSource Centre reception at 403-887-2199.
