RCMP investigating alleged firearms incident in central Alberta
RCMP are investigating an alleged firearms incident in central Alberta this week.
On June 4, 2024, at 8:18 a.m., Maskwacis RCMP received a report of individuals with a firearm driving around Louis Bull First Nation.
While police responded to the high risk call, Mounties say local schools were placed in a hold and secure status. Police say extensive patrols were made and the vehicle was not located.
On June 5, 2024, after continued investigation, RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Louis Bull First Nation. As a result of the search, RCMP located and seized:
