Shotokan Karate Club set to take global stage in London, but seeks support

The Shotokan Karate Club of Red Deer will be representing Canada at the World Shoto Cup in London, England in September this year.
The World Shoto Cup is a globally recognized karate championship that attracts top athletes from around the world to compete in a display of skill, dedication, and sportsmanship.
The club’s team recently demonstrated exceptional talent and commitment at the International Shotokan Karate Federation’s Canadian National Championship in Vancouver this May long weekend, earning multiple medals and the honour of representing Canada on the global stage.
Offering a unique opportunity for local athletes, the non-profit organization is reaching out to the community for support in the hopes of securing sponsorship assistance for travel expenses, accommodation, registration fees, and training costs.
