Touch-a-Truck goes May 11 at Westerner Park

May 9, 2024 | 12:22 PM

The annual Touch-a-Truck event returns on May 11, giving children the opportunity to see more than 100 of their favourite trucks, tractors, and equipment up close while they interact with RCMP, EMS, firefighters, and members of other industries.

The event takes place at Westerner Park and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The first hour will not have any horns or sirens. Noise reduction headsets are recommended for the rest of the event if noise is a concern.

In addition to the equipment being shown, there will be a smash-a-car event, bouncy castle, and food trucks.

Families of up to six people can purchase tickets ahead of time for $25, or on site for $30. A single admission ticket is $15.
