Intersection road closure at 53 Street and 47 Avenue

City of Red Deer PSA — Motorists are advised that the intersection of 53 Street and 47 Avenue will be closed from May 6 to May 21 as water main replacements are installed. Residents and motorists in the area will note that 47 Avenue between 55 and 53 Street has already been closed since early April.

Motorists are advised to detour via 45 Avenue and 48 Avenue; 55 Street will be unaffected. Please obey all signs and use extra caution while crews are present. Please find an alternate route if possible.
