Red Deer RCMP arrest two individuals following ramming of police vehicle

Red Deer RCMP have arrested two individuals following a ramming of a police vehicle.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., Red Deer RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle located in a parking lot on the north side of Red Deer.

When members arrived, two individuals were observed standing beside the vehicle. RCMP say the pair then entered the vehicle and used it to ram the officers police vehicle.

Following this, they say the two suspects attempted to flee on foot, but were quickly arrested.

RCMP state multiple charges are currently pending against two people and an update will follow once charges are confirmed.
