Lethbridge man charged with criminal harassment

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has charged a 30-year-old man in connection with a harassment investigation.

Between April 9 and 15, 2024, LPS responded to multiple complaints involving an unknown, suspicious male who allegedly approached young girls and women and asked them to hang out, attempting to persuade them to enter his vehicle.

10 victims between the ages of 11 and 45 came forward, saying they declined the man’s advances, but he continued to persist, either repeating or restating his solicitations multiple times.

Five of the incidents occurred on the westside and one on the southside. In one instance, police say he was reported soliciting staff and customers inside a grocery store where he was recorded on video surveillance.
