#TealUp this April for Month of the Military Child

Red Deer City Hall, Lethbridge City Hall and the Calgary Tower are among the landmarks which will light up in teal the evening of April 28 in support of the Month of the Military Child.
The observance has come together locally thanks to work by the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre, which is joining communities across the country to honour the strength and resiliency of military children.
The centre says military children face unique challenges throughout deployments, such as absences, relocations and frequent change. Yet, they still demonstrate remarkable courage and adaptability, among other things.
“We are proud to stand alongside military families and recognize the resilience of their children during the Month of the Military Child,” said Barbara Pohl, Executive Director of Calgary MFRC.
