Central Alberta-made beer is once again raising funds and awareness for Dress for Success this March.

For the fourth year, Innisfail’s Field & Forge has crafted a new brew that will launch in local Co-op liquor stores March 8, which is also International Women’s Day.

Two dollars from the sale of every ‘Class’d Up Orange Ale’ four-pack will go to Dress for Success Central Alberta.

“Central Alberta Co-op is proud to employ many female team members so it is important for us to be recognize them not only on International Women’s day but every day,” says Babette Dorn, Liquor Division Manager, Central Alberta Co-Op Ltd. “By supporting this organization, we are helping Dress For Success empower women when entering the workplace.”

Erin Forbes, Dress for Success’s executive director, says the beer initiative is a way to pay respect to amazing women.

“We are always working towards and celebrating the success of women who have overcome barriers in both their personal and professional lives,” says Forbes.

“The funds raised from this partnership will support the services that assist clients throughout their full journey to personal success; from landing that first good job, to stepping into financial independence and all the way to achieving their own definition of leadership and success.”

In 2023, Dress for Success Central Alberta served 200 local women, and are on pace to help 400 this year, with professional attire, career services, community outreach and skill development programs.
