Red Deer man sentenced to nine months following string of break and enters
A Red Deer man charged in multiple local property crime investigations has been sentenced to nine months in jail.
Described by police as a prolific offender, Zacharias Paradoski, 37, was convicted on one count of dangerous operation in Red Deer Court of Justice on Feb. 28, 2024. He was also given a three-year license suspension.
Paradoski was initially charged with 18 counts in relation to a string of break and enter and stolen vehicle incidents in 2022.
Police say Paradoski was first connected to a string of break and enters the morning of March 21, 2022, between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m., where six properties were broken into in southeast Red Deer. Surveillance footage was confirmed to have seen the suspect using a Ford F350 pickup truck which had been reported as stolen.
