Innisfail RCMP arrest four after series of thefts

Innisfail RCMP confirm they have arrested four people following a series of reported thefts.

From January 8 -.20, 2024, RCMP state they responded to several break and enters in the Town of Innisfail including a garage, travel trailer, and truck where numerous tools were stolen.

Based on information obtained, investigators believed that the crimes were linked.

On Jan. 26,2024, RCMP executed a search warrant on 49a Avenue in the town searching for the property stolen during those crimes. During that time, RCMP recovered a large amount of stolen tools from the break and enters as well as other property including electronics and a stolen BMW vehicle.

A 41-year-old male and 31-year-old female, both residents of Red Deer, have been charged with:

  • Traffic in property obtained by crime;
  • Possession of stolen property;

Both were taken before a Justice of the Peace and released with their next court date set for February 13, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.

A 34-year-old male and 35-year-old female, both resident of Innisfail, have been charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property;
  • Possession stolen identity documents;

Both were taken before a Justice of the Peace and released with their next court date set for February 20, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.
