New trial dates set for Bowden man charged in girlfriend’s murder
New trial dates have been set for a Bowden man accused in the death of his girlfriend, a young mother of two-year-old twin boys at the time, nearly three years ago.
Ross Arran McInnes, 29, is scheduled for a jury trial in Calgary Court of Kings Bench from Feb. 5-23, 2024. He was originally scheduled for trial in March of last year, following a preliminary hearing held in June 2022.
McInnes is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Kirsten O’Donoghue (Gardner) who was found dead in her Bowden apartment on March 22, 2021.
RCMP say McInnes was arrested at the scene.
