Town of Ponoka waste collection services in Zone 3 resume January 16

Town of Ponoka residents in Zone 3 whose green carts and grey carts were not collected last week due to the extreme cold, will see their waste collection services resume Tuesday, January 16.

Town officials say for those residents in Zone 3, January 16 will be an extra collection day this week for the pick-up of household waste in their grey carts and compostable waste in their green carts.

On Friday, January 19, which is the regular waste collection day for Zone 3, those residents can also set their recyclable materials at the curb in clear or blue transparent bags for pick up.
