Yukon man allegedly assaults nurse at Innisfail supportive living facility

Innisfail RCMP have charged a man from the Yukon with multiple offences.

RCMP say it was just before 4 a.m. on Dec. 10, 2023 when they responded to a report of a break and enter at Sunset Manor supportive living facility.

A male suspect is believed to have broken in by shattering the front glass door. Once inside, the male suspect allegedly assaulted a nurse and caused significant damages to the facility, including destroying furniture, electronics and Christmas decorations.

When police arrived, they found the man and arrested him, still inside the facility.
