Musical celebration and outdoor live nativity pageant in Red Deer

For more than 40 years, the Outdoor Live Nativity Pageant and Indoor Crèche Display has been a beloved annual Christmas event in Red Deer.

Many Red Deer residents make it part of their annual Christmas celebrations, but since the pageant is held outdoors, it is occasionally cancelled at the last minute due to inclement weather. Severe winter weather cancelled the Live Nativity Pageant last year, but the weather forecast is looking very good for 2023!

The Live Nativity Pageant and the Indoor Crèche Display will be held at 8 Keast Way on December 19-21, 2023. The indoor crèche display will be open from 6-9 pm and the Live Nativity Pageant will have three shows each night at 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00 pm.

The indoor crèche display is a stunning display of more than 300 nativity scenes from around the world that can be viewed inside the building. Attendees can also enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.
