The fall sitting of the Alberta legislature is in the books.
Politicians wrapped up the sitting this week, passing nine bills, including a bill mandating a referendum be held before the province proceeds with leaving the Canada Pension Plan.
Premier Danielle Smith’s government put time limits on debate before passing that bill.
The Opposition N-D-P says that’s because Smith’s United Conservatives didn’t want to discuss it.
