WEEKEND RECAP
SAT. NOV. 4 – In a complete effort from start to finish, the Rebels earned their first win of their B.C. road trip by grounding the high flying Kelowna Rockets 3-1. Frantisek Formanek scored even strength while Kai Uchacz and Carson Latimer each scored power play goals. Rhett Stoesser made 26 saves for the win. Red Deer was 2-for-5 on the power play and held Kelowna to 0-for-3.
FRI. NOV. 3 – It was a back-and-forth game at the Sandman Centre before the Kamloops Blazers scored in the ninth round of the shootout for a 4-3 win over the Rebels. Kai Uchacz scored twice for the second straight game, including one shorthanded, while Samuel Drancak scored once. Chase Wutzke made 32 saves through regulation and overtime, and six more in the shootout.
