Innisfail RCMP hosting Charity Checkstop Dec. 2

The Innisfail RCMP detachment is once again hosting its Charity Checkstop, this year on December 2.

The 27th annual event runs from 10-3 by the Royal Canadian Legion on 50 Street between 48 and 49 Avenue.

“Donations will be accepted from traffic that is both eastbound and westbound. Vehicles not wishing to donate may proceed through the right most lanes without stopping. Safety Bear is also excited to meet everyone again this year,” organizers say.

“The Charity Checkstop will once again be accepting new clothing, food, new toys, and cash. Every little bit counts. The charitable organizations this year will be the Innisfail Food Bank, Innisfail Christmas Bureau, the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, and the Innisfail Youth Positive Assets Coalition.”
