Scams and apartment safety the focus of workshops for seniors this October

Seniors in Red Deer are encouraged to take part in upcoming sessions which will touch upon fraud and scams, as well as condo and apartment safety,

The sessions will be offered in partnership between Bridges Community Living, the Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre, and the City of Red Deer.

Exact dates for these events will be announced in early October, the first day of which is recognized as the International Day of Older Persons

“One of the first steps in being safe in our community is knowledge. We are very excited that this series of workshops will give seniors a foundation in both fraud and general safety” states Geoff Olson, Bridges Community Living executive eirector.
