Public invited to local Health Advisory Council meeting

Local and area residents are invited to hear from Alberta Health Services (AHS) Central Zone leadership about local health care delivery and services at a public meeting of the Yellowhead East Health Advisory Council (YEHAC) on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for an in-person meeting.

This is an opportunity to:

• Bring your community’s voice forward to provide input on local and regional health.
• Hear from local AHS leadership and provide feedback to AHS regarding healthcare services to inform decision-making.
• Learn more about the YEHAC.
• Hear about navigation 811 and how 911 and 811 are working together in the Central Zone. Health care can be difficult to navigate and 811 is a province-wide toll-free line that is helping to alleviate the challenges.
