Red Deer’s annual Pioneer Days Festival brings farming fun to the weekend
The antique tractors are ready to roll for Red Deer’s annual Pioneer Days Festival, taking place this weekend at Sunnybrook Farm Museum.
On August 19 – 20 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., families can participate in a variety of fun-filled activities at the Farm (2879 Botterill Cres.) for just a cash donation as admission.
On Saturday, attendees can enjoy a pancake breakfast, antique and collector car show, silent auction, antique tractor pull competition, tractor parade, grain threshing and field demonstrations, and a cookie walk, filling empty boxes with various cookies to bring home.
On Sunday, guests can purchase some home-made pies and attend cowboy church at 10:30. a.m.
