“I am honoured and excited to join BILD Central Alberta as the Executive Director,” said Windrim. “I would like to thank President Leigh Stuart and the entire BILD Board for having the confidence in me to lead this organization forward. I am committed to working with the members, and community to learn and discover ways to drive innovation and growth within central Alberta.”

Windrim was born and raised in Red Deer and possesses strong community spirit, they add.

He also serves as a director on MEGlobal’s Community Advisory Panel, and previously volunteered with Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership, United Way’s GenNext and Tourism Red Deer.

“We are excited to have Chris take on the executive director role at BILD and we cannot wait to see what this year holds,” commented Leigh Stuart, President. “With his knowledge, drive, and community relations skills, we are confident that he will be a vital addition to BILD. Chris has already established a meaningful relationship within the community coming from the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce. Be sure to extend a warm welcome to him at one of our future events.”
