TD bank glitch impacting direct deposit for some customers

A technical issue impacting T-D Bank is affecting customers whose paycheques go into their account through direct deposit.
The issue is impacting customers in Eastern and Western Canada.
The bank says account holders are being prevented from getting paid as a result. Customers raised concerns on social media about being unable to pay bills, as well as automatic payments that put their accounts into the negative.
T-D did not provide details about the source of the problem but said it was working quickly to resolve it.
