Sylvan Lake’s skatepark season opener hits the ramps this June

The Town of Sylvan Lake says they are ready to get this skatepark season started.

Their free drop-in opener will be taking place on June 17 at the skatepark (4725 43 St) from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Visitors can meet the Skatepark Ambassadors, participate in mini competitions, and have a hot do.

Organizers say families are encouraged to come and can learn skate culture, etiquette, and the benefits of skateboarding, scootering, and BMX biking.
