Biography

My name is Brandon Pringle. I have vast experience ranging from sales and marketing, Concierge services, financial, and multi-million dollar Branch Management  I have been happily married to my wife Karrina for 30 years and we have two grown children. I am also a studied pastor. Our daughter is a teacher, and our son-in-law is in IT. Our son is currently working towards his power engineering and our daughter-in-law works in the financial sector.  All our kids love Jesus, and we are very proud of each of them.  We are also blessed to have a 2-year-old grandson! Karrina was born and raised in Alberta, and we have lived in Alberta together for 32 years, and are blessed to have called Banff, Calgary and Penhold our home during this time. We look forward to achieving the honor of earning your support in the important May 29 elections.

Questions

1. What made you decide to run in this provincial election?

The current parties have each had four of the past years of leadership over Alberta, and we are in a mess. Healthcare has a 69,000 backlog. Crime is out of control. My car has been broken into twice. Education outcomes for children are lower than any time in Alberta History. I am stunned that the current parties have the audacity to claim they are “the best party” to lead Alberta. If a coach of a hockey or football team was given four years to improve a franchise and they had this losing record, they would be fired. The ruling class parties have failed the people of Alberta and it is time for change. Solidarity Party is the Party that will be lead by the people – for the people.

2. Why should constituents vote for you? What skill sets and experience do you have that make you a good fit for the role of MLA?

From the time I was young, I worked at McDonald’s. I worked as a chimney sweep. I worked for 7-Eleven. I built my resume working for 3 of the best hotels in Alberta. I started as a basic salesperson and over a few years rose to the position of Sales Manager and finally Branch Manager, directing over 35 staff and 18 million per year in sales. I have vast experience in the financial sector and marketing. I understand how it feels to be blue collar, and the challenges that come with it, as that is what I am today. At the same time, I also understand how businesses should run and operate – financially and logistically. Many people who have been elected to government cannot even answer basic questions about the importance of freedom of speech and the rule of law. The people deserve better.

3. From your perspective, what are the most important issues in this election, both provincially and in your riding specifically?

The consistent concerns people express are Healthcare, Crime, Education, Mental Health Services and Land use bylaws. The Solidarity Platform will address these issues with grit, determination and the same can-do Albertan attitude that built this once great province. No more excuses. We will not stand by and act helpless as our province is run into the ground. We will fire the managers who have a losing track record and promote and attract focused driven leaders who will get results.

4. What is your main message to voters, especially those who may be undecided?

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. How long will you listen to people tell you how good it will be when you elect them, only to be let down again? The people that promised you results – but didn’t produce them – have broken your trust and don’t deserve your vote. People are so fed up that close 50 % of people have not been voting! Don’t listen to the fearmongering and scare tactics about splitting the vote. You can’t “split the vote” from the 50% of disaffected people that stopped voting because they could not stomach voting for either party. The Solidarity Movement is the party that will make sure your voice is heard and will flip over the “business as usual” tables to get you and your family the results they deserve.
