I and my wife (Eileen) live just east of Innisfail for the past 9 years and we enjoy the serene settings of the country life.

My family and I relocated to Calgary, Alberta from B.C. when I was 5 years old. I grew up in the aviation world by working in my father’s business as a youth who loved the mechanical aspect of the trade. I honed my research abilities by trouble shooting aircraft systems and reviewing the aircraft publications.

I am an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer by trade with 40 years of experience thus far. I have also been an aircraft maintenance Instructor and Director of the school I taught at. Questions

1. What made you decide to run in this provincial election?

I am entering the 2023 provincial election as an MLA candidate in the Innisfail – Sylvan Lake riding as a sovereign Albertan who is genuinely concerned with the future of our province that is in the grasp of the not so transparent Federal and Provincial governments.

2. Why should constituents vote for you? What skillsets and experience do you have that make you a good fit for the role of MLA?

The people of the Innisfail – Sylvan Lake riding would be receiving a representative who pledges his allegiance to the riding and the people of Alberta as a whole.

I am a person who can communicate very well whether in calm or stressful environment and provide clear critical thinking. I have attention to detail which allows me to flush out not so transparent information. I am loyal, honest, trustworthy and I have integrity and empathy. I have many years of leadership skills which provides the foresight to step back when someone else has more experience in certain areas.

3. From your perspective, what are the most important issues in this election, both provincially and in your riding specifically?

Alberta Justice – Justices should be beholden to the people of Alberta and base decisions on the rule of law as written and honour the Alberta Human Rights Act.

Alberta Education – Parental leverage; funding follows the students – all year long. Back to the basics, remove identity politics from schools, no more indoctrination, get back to the basic foundations of education.

Right to farm; Alberta’s agricultural sovereignty will be defended against government and bureaucratic overreach as well as Federal & global anti-farming elements and organizations.

Buy Alberta, Beef, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Forestry and Mining.

Alberta health care: Alberta Health Services (AHS) is broken; politicians must take action, identify dysfunction and corruption – taking accountable action on both.

Alberta Government Accountability & Transparency

Elected representatives will have the right and duty to vote their conscience and the will of their constituents – no party whip. Elected representatives will have annual reviews. Elected representatives will not be affiliate with global organizations not aligned with Alberta’s values, rights, and freedoms.

Alberta Economy & Finance

No more carbon tax – it stops at the Alberta border.

End Equalization – 30 billion a year goes to Central Canada of which 2/3 goes to Quebec.

Extensive audit; deep dive on government spending (taxpayer expenditures), address corruption and waste.

Alberta self-reliance; strive to become a self-sufficient Alberta.

4. What is your main message to voters, especially those who may be undecided?

My primary message to voters and undecided voters is; they have a choice, there is more than just 2 political parties. The Independent Party of Alberta is committed to the success, prosperity and sovereignty of Alberta.
