Celebrate Otis the Owl’s 20th birthday this Saturday

This Saturday, central Alberta’s most famous owl is turning 20.

Otis, who’s become a mascot of sorts for the Medicine River Wildlife Centre, will welcome guests to his home for a day of fun and education.

The day will include:

– guided tours of the wildlife hospital
– presentations in our Learning Lodge
– nature trail hikes
– wagon rides to view the new raptor compound
– face painting
– hot dogs and birthday cake
– crafts
– raffle
– gift shop sales
– photos with Otis the Owl
