Town of Penhold issues Fire Ban

The Town of Penhold has issued a Fire Ban due to the dry warm and windy conditions. The Fire Ban went into effect at 7:00 p.m. on May 1, 2023.

Town officials say no sources of open flame are permitted including charcoal, briquettes, or wood.

During the ban you may use certified cooking and heating appliances or equipment such as barbecues, fire tables, patio heaters, and gas / propane fueled fire pits.

There currently are no open fire permits and none will be issued during the ban.
